ABOUT THE FAIR TRADE ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND
The Fair Trade Association is a community of businesses, individuals, schools and organisations who support the principles of Fair Trade and collaborate to trade fairly and have a positive social and environmental impact. The association is a non-profit charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. It brings together a broad range of people and organisations who are working together to shape a more ethical future.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist the association and volunteers to get website content and navigation into better shape, and provide hands-on assistance and advice for continuing improvements, including easy-to-follow content planning.
- Lead website improvements to comply with Google Grants eligibility and run Google Grants ads for the association to generate leads and reach new audiences.
- Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns for Fair Trade Fortnight and other key Fair Trade events in the annual calendar.
- Provide digital marketing advice for driving membership growth and participation, including marketing plans with specific objectives.
- Use customer insights, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Mentor and assist a (paid) part-time admin/social media coordinator and volunteer committee members to improve and/or be more involved in creating and managing website and social media content.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience finding creative solutions for small organisations with limited resources.
- Hands-on digital content management experience.
- Proven experience developing successful marketing strategies and executing campaigns to drive membership, fundraising or cause awareness objectives.
- Good project management and mentoring skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and alignment with our values.
- A passion for creativity, collaboration and ethical enterprise.
