Our offices are in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We are recruiting for a Brisbane based Consultant or Senior Consultant.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are passionate about improving outcomes for people accessing government and non-government services. You have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply to this challenge. You have an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in community services, psychology, science, the humanities, law, medicine, or another relevant discipline.

You will have experience in research or evaluation, and skills in either qualitative or quantitative data collection and analysis. You will be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You will have SPSS and/or Tableau and/or NVivo coding skills for data management (or be willing to learn).

You will have effective time management skills, managing multiple tasks to competing deadlines, and value working as part of a team to produce high quality work.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

An ARTD Consultant or Senior Consultant works as part of a team, supporting senior staff across multiple evaluations and other consultancy projects in varied subject areas. The role includes the following, with Senior Consultants taking more of a lead role on larger and more complex projects than Consultants.

  • Manage project tasks to meet quality standards, time and budget, with the supervision of senior staff, including:
    • design and manage agreed components of a project (e.g. survey design and administration, interviews and theme analysis)
    • arrange fieldwork, workshops and meetings
    • ongoing communication with clients about day-today project administration
    • contribute to and prepare project deliverables.
  • Undertake quantitative and/or qualitative data collection and analysis (e.g. clean, prepare and analyse quantitative data, conduct telephone interviews, survey analysis)
  • Contribute to proposals with the support of senior staff
  • Proof and format proposals, plans, reports and other deliverables
  • Contribute to ARTD as a learning organisation including building your own expertise, sharing knowledge, developing methods and tools, and improving practices
  • Maintain project management, time records and budgets using company platform
  • Maintain records required for administration, quality and reporting systems
  • Undertake internal projects and duties as assigned by the ARTD Directors

CONDITIONS

This is a permanent role located in our Brisbane office (with work from home options available). We are open to the roles being part-time for the right candidate.

Consultants and Senior Consultants are paid a base salary ranging between $80,000 to $115,000 (including superannuation), depending on qualifications, skills and experience. Additional to the base salary, ARTD pays a bonus of 10% or a super bonus of 15% of your salary dependent on meeting our company performance targets.
