We are a not-for-profit organisation primarily focused on supporting men. We also provide some support to their partners and families. We specialise in working with men who live with high and complex needs related to drug and alcohol use, mental health conditions, Acquired Brain Injury, intellectual and other disabilities.

The men we work with are often involved with the justice system, at risk of homelessness, using violence against partners, family or in the community, or dealing with their own childhood or adult experiences of violence or sexual abuse.

About the role

We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably tertiary or vocational qualified people with experience working as NDIS Support Officer. Your experience in working with men who have complex needs, and your passion for making a difference in men's lives will serve you well in this role.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, community services or any related and equivalent training.
  • Proven experience in NDIS support service delivery.
  • Work with participants to achieve their goals in line with their NDIS plan.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the NDIS policies, systems and practices.
  • Build effective relationships with participants, their families / carers and other support providers whilst maintaining clear professional boundaries.
  • An awareness of culturally sensitive practice when providing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD and LGBTIQ+ communities.
  • Possess a current Working With Vulnerable People registration.
  • Police check or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's licence.

What happens after you apply?

This will be your opportunity to find out more about EveryMan and to meet some of our staff and managers in a relaxed atmosphere.
