  • Location: Sydney, NSW. Working From Home policies currently apply and the successful applicant will receive appropriate supports and equipment to enable them to work from home
  • Exciting opportunity to join a large project to create transformational change in the services and supports available to Australian people living with epilepsy
  • Work with a diverse range of stakeholders internally and externally to support the development and implementation of a national epilepsy support program 

The role

The Epilepsy Foundation is responsible for managing the 4 year federally funded Epilepsy Smart Australia Pilot Program (ESAP). The purpose of the ESAP is to develop and test a national framework for delivering high quality and consistent information, support, services and training for people living with epilepsy and the communities in which they live. 

As part of ESAP, this position has responsibility to market and promote EF’s services across New South Wales. The position also has responsibility for identifying and liaising with key stakeholders to assist with the delivery of epilepsy information and support including education and training delivery. The role will be the local (NSW) point of contact for Epilepsy Support Workers and Education & Training, peers and volunteers.  The role is based in Sydney, NSW.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in:

  • Developing service delivery information and referral pathways within a health environment
  • Working with government departments, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Identifying and liaising with key stakeholders
  • Marketing and promotion within a health environment
  • Applying business acumen and commercial expertise.
