Based in Surrey Hills, we have an opportunity for a full time Epilepsy Support Worker (ESW) to deliver information, professional support and services to individuals and families living with epilepsy.

Reduce the impact of epilepsy on people’s lives.

Role:

This role has two key duties. To:

  • Perform intake tasks through the Epilepsy Information Line including initial needs assessments
  • Receive an allocation of clients in the role of a Key Support Worker (KSW) to provide person-centred support

The ESW networks with agencies, hospitals, community services providers and other key stakeholders to support quality service delivery, operate in accordance with service delivery model, standards and practice guidelines, maintain timely and accurate records, work within the quality framework and comply with the Epilepsy Foundation’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications in any of the following fields:

Bachelor or Masters of Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology – with Clinical Qualification or an agreed equivalent such as Community or Disability Case Worker

Experience in psychotherapy or family therapy an advantage.
