ABOUT US

The Anthony Costa Foundation is a charitable foundation established to support the philanthropy of the Anthony and Elaine Costa and Robert and Rita Costa families. The Foundation seeks to make a positive impact in the communities where the families live and work by ensuring equity in education; improving community health and well-being; and building vibrant and fair communities. This is achieved by the Foundation’s grant making programs and other strategies.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The purpose of this role is to provide grants administration, communications, and stakeholder engagement support to this growing family foundation. Critical to the success of this role is a high level of relational, communication and organisational skills, and an exceptional level of attention to detail.

Working as part of a small team, this role will report to the Foundation’s General Manager. Initially a .6 part time role, there is the opportunity to grow the role. Flexible working arrangements are negotiable for the ideal candidate.

THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supporting the Foundation’s grant application and awards processes, which includes maintaining the Foundation’s grants management system.
  • Supporting the development and ongoing implementation of the Foundation’s communication strategy and bringing the communications strategy to life by developing appropriate content across various media platforms/formats.
  • Supporting the development of Foundation’s stakeholder engagement strategy and implementation of activities as needed e.g., annual Charity Golf Day, volunteer opportunities and grantee site visits.
  • Developing and maintaining strong, positive, trusting working relationships with all Foundation stakeholders.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role or the not-for-profit/philanthropic sectors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team approach
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Programs and comfortability with using and learning online tools
