Graduate Energy Consultant - Multiple Locations

Energetics

About us:

Energetics is Australia’s climate risk and energy transition expert. We are independent and in our advice to business and governments, we aim to catalyse Australia’s climate response by creating bespoke solutions for each challenge.

Working across all sectors of the economy, we help some of Australia’s biggest companies to transform and play their part for a climate-resilient, decarbonising world.

We do this through four key solutions: achieving net zero, building resilience in the face of the changing climate, navigating Australia’s transition to clean energy, and ensuring that decisions are based on robust data insights and analytics. Our people are talented, experienced and passionate – for us this isn’t just a job, it’s personal.

  • Assisting clients in inventory development and meeting their mandatory and voluntary reporting requirements under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act and National Pollutant Inventory as well as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol for scope 3 emissions.

You have:

  • Recently completed your degree. What discipline? Most are interesting for us, including Engineering, Finance, Actuarial Studies, Commerce and Law.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills that have been used to undertake analysis of varying sizes of data sets.

Diversity and inclusion:

We know that candidates from marginalised communities often don’t apply for positions unless they can confidently tick all the boxes. At Energetics we understand that transitioning to a low carbon world will require innovative and creative thinking which we can only achieve with a diverse team. Even if you don’t fully meet the criteria, we are keen to hear how your background and experience can bring value to Energetics and our clients.
