Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation (WYDAC) has dedicated itself to developing the strength, health, confidence and leadership of Warlpiri youth since 1993. The program aims to promote positive and meaningful future pathways for all young Warlpiri people.

About the opportunities:

WYDAC  now has multiple opportunities for full-time Youth Workers to join their community-based teams in remote NT.

Reporting to the relevant Youth Program Coordinator, this unique opportunity will see you facilitating a program of activities responsive to the needs of the youth in that community.

The activities provide daily opportunities for engagement with healthy and positive diversionary and development activities, which in turn prevents the youth in the communities from 'at-risk' activity. Youth development activities build the resilience, confidence and skills of young Warlpiri men and women in a culturally appropriate manner, to assist them to develop to their full potential.
