The Ella Centre is a Not-for-Profit organisation located in Haberfield and auspiced by the Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (NSW Synod). It provides a range of valuable community services to those living in the Inner West who are frail aged, have dementia or a disability. Services include group based aged care, disability day programs support coordination and social support.

About the role:
Part-Time (22.5 hours per week – 3 days per week).
The Finance and Corporate Services Manager is part of The Ella Centre’s Senior Management Team and is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategic insights across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Develop financial models and provide strategic analysis to support business planning
- Supervise Assistant Accountant and contribute to their development
- Supervise HR Lead and manage other corporate services
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures
- Liaise with external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a financial management role
- A willingness and ability to provide hands on financial support to support organisation’s financial objectives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., MYOB, Excel)
- A background in NDIS/Aged Care would be desirable, but not essential
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory standards
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
