We pursue this by providing high quality, independent technical advisory, design engineering and project delivery services to a wide range of national and international clients that include state and national governments, intergovernmental agencies and development banks/organisations, power utilities, community service organisations, large commercial firms and private investment firms.
Based in our Alice Springs office alongside our diverse, multidisciplinary and dynamic team of more than twenty five professional engineers, project managers, engagement specialists and data analysts, you will provide administrative support and coordination to multiple teams delivering an exciting and continuously challenging suite of projects that include utility scale wind and solar farms, power supply projects for remote and regional commercial facilities such as airports and tourism ventures and remote communities, and other public and privately funded remote infrastructure developments.
The Graduate Engineer – Civil reports to the Operations Manager, Ekistica and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of Ekistica’s work, including smaller individual projects as well as parts of larger projects, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within agreed budgets and to the satisfaction of the clients. Project work is generally focused on infrastructure and construction projects and ensuring that business and quality assurance processes are adhered to during the delivery of allocated project tasks and may include oversight of project documentation for complete projects.
Some commercial civil engineering or construction experience is preferable but not compulsory. Your capabilities will include:
The position is full-time and based in Ekistica’s offices on the beautiful Desert Knowledge Precinct in Alice Springs, with travel to project sites in Australia and overseas where needed.
Ekistica offers 5 weeks annual leave each year (FTE), an annual professional development allowance, superannuation of 9.5% in addition to base salary, and annual performance bonus measured against the following key metrics:
