About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join our Clinical and Social Research Team at Turning Point. This includes clinical trials testing novel psychological and neurocognitive behaviour change interventions that aim to help people reduce and/or cease harmful substance use, ground-breaking pilot studies, qualitative studies (e.g., Interviews with people who consume alcohol and other drugs to understand their experiences), and other research activities and evaluations, as well as relevant administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior researchers/clinicians who will provide guidance, mentoring and training to assist them in performing their role.

A specific focus of this position will be to support clinical trials and basic research studies examining cognitive biases in addiction, and the clinical effects of modifying them.
