  • This position is based at either our Byron Bay or Coffs Harbour office
  • $50.86 per hour + Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

EACH is the Lead Agency of the Therapeutic Alliance (TA), a consortium of community based, not-for-profit services who provide services across the North Coast of NSW. The alliance will deliver the Primary Mental Health Program (PMHP) through a multidisciplinary, person centred, hub-and-spoke model of care.

About the role

EACH is seeking an Engagement and Experience Manager to join the Therapeutic Alliance consortium, in supporting our service hubs located at Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, and Byron Bay. 

As the Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and putting into practise proactive measures to strengthen connections with communities of recovery and ensure their needs are met. This includes monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Codesigning and implementing programs that strengthen communities of recovery, whether virtual, cultural, geographical, service, or social issue based.
  • Establishing and maintaining accountability for how customer viewpoints and lived experiences influence and direct operations.
  • Enabling communication and cooperation between spokes and hubs to ensure local operations contribute to community wellbeing.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for staff.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced Manager with a strong understanding of, and commitment to, cultural safety and trauma-informed care, as well as valuing diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with vulnerable populations (particularly those with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions), in community outreach, program development, mental health lived experience, community development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Experience with community-based recovery services and knowledge of program evaluation and data analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, community development, or a related field.
  • Current state-based driver’s license.
