We're one of the nation's leading health and community services providers, offering a broad range of services for almost 50 years.

EACH is the Lead Agency of the Therapeutic Alliance (TA), a new consortium of community based, not-for-profit services who provide services across the North Coast of NSW. The alliance will deliver the Primary Mental Health Program (PMHP) through a multidisciplinary, person centred, hub-and-spoke model of care.

About the role

EACH is seeking a Communities of Place (COP) Manager to join the new Therapeutic Alliance consortium, in supporting our service hubs located at Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, and Byron Bay. 

As the COP Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing proactive strategies to strengthen connections to communities of recovery and ensure their needs are met. This includes monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Codesigning and implementing programs that strengthen communities of recovery, whether virtual, cultural, geographical, service, or social issue based.
  • Establishing and maintaining accountability for how consumer's lived experiences and perspectives inform and guide operations.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between spokes and hubs to ensure that local operations contribute to community wellbeing.
  • Developing and implementing training programs for staff so that they are well equipped to meet the needs stakeholder communities.

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager with a strong understanding of, and commitment to, cultural safety and trauma-informed care, as well as valuing diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations (particularly those with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions), in community outreach, program development, mental health lived experience, community development, or a related field. You will also have experience with community-based recovery services and knowledge of program evaluation and data analysis.

Mandatory Qualification/s, Competencies and/or Licences

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, community development, or a related field.
