As part of our headspace Fountain Gate SC team, EACH is looking for a passionate and experienced School Clinician to provide assessments, psychological interventions and support to young people aged 12-18yrs currently attending college part-time (.6FTE - 3 days a week) to end of term December 2022.
You will have:
As the headspace School Mental Health Clinician, you will provide assessments, psychological interventions and support at FGSC. Working as an integral part of the well-being team at FGSC, you will receive referrals to provide; psychological assessment, ongoing therapeutic services (caseload), care planning and support to young people going to college.
In addition, you will facilitate access to appropriate internal and external services (including headspace Pakenham and Narre Warren) as indicated by assessment and care planning processes.
You have a positive approach, bringing an understanding of school culture and the challenging problems facing young people. You will be self-motivated, able to work competently and independently, whilst also enjoying being part of a team.
Working in a fast-paced school environment with staff, parents, your colleagues and the young people, you will bring strong organisational and highly developed interpersonal skills.
You will be co-located at Fountain Gate SC (during the school term) and headspace Narre Warren. Sitting operationally within EACH's headspace team, you will report to the headspace Narre Warren School Services Coordinator whilst working closely with the Head of Wellbeing and the Wellbeing team at FGSC.
