The Homes for Families (H4F) program provides support to families with children experiencing homelessness who were residing in emergency accommodation due to the pandemic with access to stable medium- and long-term housing and integrated support packages.
We are seeking an experienced full-time Clinician to provide counselling to children, young people and their carers who are part of the H4F program until December 2023.
The role will assess and deliver evidence-based interventions, using an outreach and site-based model, to those who have experienced significant adverse life experiences including trauma, abuse, grief and isolation. Supporting young people and their families to heal and provide safe environments for children to flourish.

As a Clinician - Child & Family (H4F) you will be responsible for:
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work closely with other Therapeutic Specialists and partner agencies, including Anglicare, The Family Services Provider and other EACH support services, to achieve positive housing and health outcomes for clients across Southern Melbourne.
The team works with very high levels of flexibility, trust, networking, and collaboration, and members of the team will have strengths in these areas to engage with clients in the community.
