Reporting directly to the Shared Services Manager, the Administration & NDIS Billing Officer will be responsible for all NDIS billing and day to day administrative operations of the Inclusion Foundation office and events.

They will be the first point of contact for program participants, families, support persons and employers, providing exceptional customer care and ensuring positive experiences are had by our people in both the Impact21 and emotion21 programs.

In addition, the Administration & NDIS Billing Officer will coordinate the preparation, processing and payment of all NDIS invoices, as well as assist participants with invoice queries and preparing quotes.

The Administration Officer will be organised with a high attention to detail; essential for the highly regulated and scrutinised sector we work within.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong customer service skills, particularly the ability to work with people with a disability, and their friends and family.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to meet people's needs.
  • Strong administrative skills and experience; excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated capability to be autonomous in undertaking administration support tasks across a range of functions with an eye for detail.
  • Understanding of NDIS plans and budgets.
  • Understanding of the NDIS PRODA System.
  • Experience working with people who have a disability.
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in billing or similar transactional processing.
  • A high level of computer skills including the Office suite and database use, demonstrating confidence and capability in using systems and technology.
  • An understanding of Xero or other accounting software packages.
  • Own vehicle and current valid driver’s license.
  • Clearance of the NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
