The Role

Working in the Response, Policy and Evidence portfolio, the Training Operations and Strategy Manager leads the response training program and offerings for the family violence and allied sectors.

Key to the success of this role will be delivering a high-volume training program including supporting a team of dedicated sessional trainers, in addition to an Instructional Designer and Project and Administration Officer. The role will also oversee strategy and implementation for response training activities and workforce development projects.

We’re looking for an experienced people leader with a track record in delivering successful learning and development strategies and programs.

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. public policy, community development, social work, education and training) or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading the development and delivery of large-scale, multi-project training programs
  • Sound understanding of learning design principles, practices, curriculum development, resource development and production
  • Excellent relationship management and coordination skills, including the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with individuals and groups
  • Experience in building and leading teams

This role is being offered on a 2-year fixed term contract. In addition to a salary of $122,053 plus superannuation ($61.7677 per hour), Safe and Equal offer its employees:

  • Above award wages and conditions under its Enterprise Agreement;
