Community Development Officer - "Services and Partnerships" - North Melbourne Paving the Way Forward Community Partner

An exciting new community development role has opened up for the right person.  The Services and Partnerships Community Development Officer (CDO) will be leading community engagement activities with North M. Public housing Residents for North Melbourne Community Partners of the Paving the Way Forward (PTWF) Project in partnership with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).  The Services and Partnerships CDO will focus on working with residents to ensure that residents have access to services they need to manage their health and wellbeing.

For this role you will need to be someone who has:

  • Relevant community development paid or unpaid experience and/or relevant qualifications and 
  • Exceptional connections to residents of the North Melbourne public housing estate either as a current resident or someone who has very strong links and networks within these communities
