Western Australian Senator Dorinda Cox, a Yamatji Noongar woman and the Australian Greens spokesperson for First Nations, Resources, Trade, Tourism and Sport is seeking an experienced Graphic Design and Digital Content Creator to design, create and deliver collateral and digital assets that align with her strategic objectives and to coordinate and moderate social media content.

This is a Perth-based contract position with expected hours to be negotiated, approximately 25 hours per week and occasional opportunity for flexibility and WFH in Perth metro area.

We are a small, hardworking team that operates in a fast-paced, dynamic political environment.

The Graphic Design and Digital Content Creator will ensure design and branding aligns with campaign, media and parliamentary plans (including but not limited to digital tiles, simple animations, video and video branding, infographics and items for print and publication, to print ready standards). It includes regular creation and delivery of brand appropriate graphic design for social media channels and campaigns and social media (including scheduling, moderation and reporting). The Graphic Design and Digital Content Creator will work closely with the Media and Communications Adviser and Senior Campaigns Adviser to contribute ideas and will be guided by collaborative design briefs.

Hours and remuneration to be negotiated and a link to an online portfolio of previous design and content creation examples or website, as well as recommendations of referee/s would assist us to assess your suitability for and ability to succeed in this role.
