This position offers flexible working arrangements and a hybrid working environment, working from the Northcote office minimum 2 days per week (Monday’s and Thursday’s) with the other work day/s negotiable to work from home. Ideally, this will be a full-time position however we are open to negotiating part-time hours if preferred.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator, who wants a rewarding role in sales and communications, and has the potential to contribute to the growth and development of our business.

Reporting to the Client Engagement Manager, the position Sales and Communications Coordinator will see you work closely with our Sales and Consulting teams to increase our impact. You will manage the day-to-day administration needs of the sales team and contribute to the creation of sales documents including proposals, tenders and sales packs. You will also support Dog and Bones internal and external communications through content creation such as articles, newsletters and case studies, and coordinating social media. You will have direct client contact, arranging client meetings and attending as required, as well as supporting the coordination of events.

You will be an integral part of the Sales and Account Management team, supporting the management of key clients, communications, and delivery of sales documentation.

About you

You share a similar philosophy to our own and have at least 3+ years' experience in an administrative or team support role. You ideally have a background or interest in Sales and Communications, with a creative flair and a great eye for detail in both written and visual formats. You are a flexible and adaptable individual, with advanced organisational skills who can work autonomously but also collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day organisation/admin support to the Client Engagement Manager, including managing incoming enquiries, contacting sales leads and managing sales CRM
  • Support the consulting team with communications and client engagement as required
  • Support the preparation and proofing of proposals, tenders and other sales documentation
  • Book meetings and lunches with current and potential clients
  • Attend meetings with current and potential clients in a support role (e.g. documenting discussion and client’s needs) with the view to increase responsibility with experience
  • Attend feedback sessions with clients in a support role (e.g. documenting discussion and client’s needs) with the view to increase responsibility with experience
  • Track sales pipeline, revenue forecasting and existing client contracts to ensure sales opportunities are identified and pursued
  • Develop communications content and materials such as articles, case studies, newsletters, social media content etc
  • Coordinate Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, Linked In), and manage website content
  • Support sales and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate events in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams
  • Other support to the Client Engagement Manager and CEO as required

Key Selection Criteria

  • A passion for supporting the NFP sector
  • A great work ethic involving a mixture of efficiency, accuracy, and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an eye for detail
  • A strong ability to work within visual brand guidelines, and experienced using PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate complex idea into visuals (e.g. graphs and charts)
  • Ability to work unsupervised, within a team
  • Prior experience working in the Tech Industry or Not-For-Profit sector, or in a B2B sales role would be an advantage (but not essential)
