The Role

The rapid growth of Dog and Bone has led our Consulting Project Delivery Team to seek an additional team member. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with drive and commitment, who wants a rewarding career in IT. This role will see you working as part of a team of consultants who are responsible for the delivery of key projects. As a trusted advisor who understands business requirements and holistic solutions, you will work with a range of technologies and IT services that support an organisation's strategies and workforce to deliver value to an organisation. The role is designed to gather client business requirements, analyse existing systems and recommend future state solutions based on those needs. You will facilitate meetings and workshops with clients and deliver complex messages in a non-technical way, bridging the gap between business and technology requirements. You will also prepare technical specification documents which clearly identify business needs and contribute to the preparations of reports which include IT strategies, RFPs and technical reviews.

About You - Skills and Experience

You share a similar philosophy to our own and have business analyst expertise with at least 4+ years' experience working in the Australian IT/ICT industry. Throughout your experience you have been responsible for collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends and proposing improvements or alternative solutions to systems based on analysis and need. With an excellent ability to work with business and technical teams, you have gathered business requirements and converted them to user stories and technical requirements, developed workflow charts and diagrams and prepared technical reports. You have excellent report writing and verbal communication skills, including presenting in a clear and concise manner. You are a flexible and adaptable individual who can work autonomously but also collaboratively as part of a team.
