ABOUT THE ROLE

Program Development and Management:

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop adverse range of educational programs that meet the needs and interests of the community.
• Design and update curriculum content, ensuring alignment with educational standards and the evolving needs of adult learners.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through participant feedback, including annual moderation of Learn Local Courses.
• Stay informed about the implementation progress of Stronger by Design and the Pre-Accredited Quality framework standards.

Community Engagement:

• Establish and maintain partnerships with local organisations, employers, government agencies, and community groups to identify training needs and opportunities.
• Attend community events and workshops to promote learn local programs and build awareness within the local community.
• At as a liaison between the Learn Local organisations and the community, addressing concerns, suggestions, and inquiries.

Key Selection Criteria

• Strong knowledge and understanding of ACFE & Social Planet
• Well- developed computer skills.
• Experience working in not-for profit community-based organisation’s.
• High levels of organisational skills, time management skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work individually and collaborative as an open and communicative team member.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of community development philosophy and practice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A current National Police Check and Working with Children’s Check.
• Must have driver’s license and access to own vehicle.
• Background in community development desirable.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Program Development and Coordination.
• Community Engagement.
• Coordinate ACFE pre-accredited A Frame delivery.
• Represent DNH at ACFE meetings.
• Build relationships and pathways with industry.
• Implement and evaluate educational programs, maintaining community partnerships, and ensuring the efficient functioning of Learn Local programs.
• Carry out annual moderation of Learn Local classes.
