Bring your passion and create positive change from the inside out.
As a youth justice worker, you'll empower young people in custody to steer their lives in a positive direction by acting as part of an extended network of care, helping them work to a daily structure, achieve key goals and develop life skills.
You don't need formal qualifications and we provide full training, but to add value as a keyworker in a young persons' care team and support rehabilitative outcomes, we value experience in the following areas: case management, youth work, healthcare, community services, social studies, education, criminology or allied health practices such as psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychiatric nursing or alcohol and other drugs.
In return for your life experience and passion for working with young people, we offer job security, paid training (including a Cert IV in youth justice), career pathway options and an opportunity to create positive change.
