Diverge Neuropsychology is a well established not for profit organisation and we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join our dedicated team of community based Neuropsychologists based in the western region of Melbourne.

As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our psychology practice to ensure quality care and exceptional service. The role will involve a dynamic mix of working with 9 clinical team members and clients both face to face and remotely, in addition to periods managing the office autonomously when clinical staff are working in the community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the face of the office – as the first point of contact, you’ll greet clients, answer calls and handle correspondence with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage office administration tasks including, filing, scanning, saving documents and managing the organisation shared google drive
  • Organise regular team meetings and events to enhance the already strong collegiality and supportive working relationships at Diverge
  • Manage financial obligations including accounts payable and receivable (Xero), payroll (Employment Hero), superannuation ATO obligations and FBT and EOFY requirements
  • Maintaining client files, invoicing and calendar management in Halaxy
  • Support staff with administration requests

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience with Practice Management, preferably within a clinical setting (business or medical administration and/or bookkeeping qualifications would be considered favourably)
  • Sound knowledge of TAC, Worksafe, NDIS billing / invoice systems
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Proficiency with practice software (Halaxy) and digital applications (Office & G suite)
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality

This is a full-time position working standard business hours across Monday to Friday with some flexibility around start and finish times as well as the opportunity to work from home one day a week.

A competitive salary including salary packaging is included. The office is based in West Footscray close to public transport and an onsite carpark.
