Directions Health Services is an innovative, non-profit organisation that has provided specialist alcohol and other drug (AOD) services in the ACT and NSW for over 40 years. Directions’ multidisciplinary service delivery team currently includes a Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Social Workers, Counsellors, Aboriginal Health Workers, Case Managers, Peer Support Workers, GPs, Registered Nurses, Pharmacists and Chemical Analysts. Directions’ capacity to implement innovative services developed in collaboration with our clients, partners, and other stakeholders, enables us to effectively respond to the changing needs of the communities we serve.

The Clinical Team Leader is a key position within Directions’ clinical and leadership workforce, offering an exciting mixture of clinical leadership, management and influence, alongside direct clinical work.
This is a full-time position, working collaboratively within the Treatment & Support Services (TSS) team, based in Woden, ACT. This position will provide clinical leadership and oversight to the TSS Team’s centre-based and outreach activities with consideration of safety, quality and risk management; and deliver high quality AOD services to clients and family members impacted by drug and alcohol use.
After hours work and travel to other sites in ACT may be required.
All appointments will be conditional upon having a Working with Vulnerable People Check, current First Aid and CPR certification and a satisfactory National Police Check.
