About the client:

Our client provides a comprehensive assessment, treatment, and assertive outreach support for individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs.

As part of a multidisciplinary care team, you will contribute to a holistic, client centred model of care, integrating with regional health teams to ensure timely and appropriate care, including inpatient support when necessary.

Role Overview:

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, supporting clients with mild, moderate and or severe mental health needs to ensure they are well supported in the community through a comprehensive model of primary health and mental health care, ensuring clients receive the right care at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct culturally sensitive and thorough assessments of clients.
  • Provide treatment and intensive case management support.
  • Engage in assertive outreach to address emerging mental health needs.
  • Apply your advanced specialist knowledge and clinical expertise in mental health assessments and decision making.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with AHPRA registration or
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration or
  • Bachelor of Social Work with AASW registration or
  • Bachelor of Counselling with PACFA or ACA registration
  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
  • Current C-Class Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Strathpine, Morayfield, Deception Bay, Margate
