THE ROLE

The Strategic Projects Advisor will be part of a collaborative and innovative team working to provide solutions to challenges across Homes Victoria. The role sits within the Delivery Strategy team which works to translate policy into delivery, and to harness expertise across Homes Victoria to ensure that the organisation is working strategically and effectively.

Examples of the team's work include analysing data on progress towards the BHB commitments and proposing course adjustments, developing strategies for determining locations of social and affordable housing, and policy development in emerging areas.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on dispersed data
  • Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
  • Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
