An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker to join the Inner East Student Support Services (SSS) team. SSS Social Workers assess and develop strategies to address emotional and mental health needs of children, young people and their families, within an educational context. Working within a multidisciplinary team, SSS Social Workers provide comprehensive Social Work services to schools to support student engagement, learning, student health and wellbeing and, provide high-level professional advice to principals and school networks.

Inner East Student Support services is looking for a highly self-motivated Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, speech pathologists, social workers, and behaviour analysts. As part of an Area based Health Wellbeing and Inclusion Workforce (HWIW) you will work collaboratively to help build the capability of schools to support student achievement, engagement, and wellbeing and support schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress towards their educational goals and developmental potential.

Required: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Social Work, eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and possess a current Australian Drivers' Licence and Working with Children Check.
