The Department of Human Services is recruiting for a Screening Transformation program, a two-year initiative aimed at modernising screening services for the future.
The Screening Transformation program will deliver an improved screening system to contribute to safeguarding vulnerable people (including children), while providing a fair and robust process for people seeking to join the workforce or volunteer.
You will gain exposure to a multi-faceted program of work, using state of the art process and data automation to review and improve operational efficiencies and enable more timely screening outcomes.
Improving the efficiency of the screening system will enable organisations to focus on service delivery, and enable workers and volunteers to start serving the community sooner.

The Program Support Officer is a role within the Finance and Business Services division and will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of projects and deliverables within the Screening Transformation Program.

Our Screening and Transformation team is leading a major program of work to reform the processes and systems of the DHS Screening Unit by working collaboratively with other departmental teams, as well as key stakeholders across the public and private sector.

If you are new to the department and are invited to an interview, you will be required to produce a National Police Check, which has been issued within six months of your application for the role. National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
