Do you have a passion for working with young people? Are you experienced in developing and facilitating social and recreational facilitating programs and events in the community?
This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Youth and Family Services team as a Youth Development Officer.
In this position you will bring your creative skills and interests including sport, performing arts and visual arts to proactively engage with young people and key community stakeholders to identify, develop and deliver programs and events that encourage young people’s active participation in and for community.
You will be tertiary qualified in youth work, events, community development or its equivalent and have demonstrated experience and understanding of working with young people and community stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
