CVGT Australia has exciting opportunities for passionate people who can have a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people and their communities.

We're looking for a Business Development Consultant for our Victorian State Government funded-program that will connect young Victorians at risk of long-term unemployment with meaningful work.

Participation in the youth program is voluntary and designed to transition young people, often with complex needs, from non-vocational support programs to employment opportunities.

We want to hear from candidates from all diverse backgrounds, particularly if you can demonstrate a lived or closely linked experience of the issues faced by young Victorians in their search for employment.

Our purpose is to connect more people to meaningful work. By doing this we create positive change, economic prosperity and improved wellbeing for all.

We started nearly 40 years ago helping young people in Country Victoria find apprenticeships and traineeships and now have 128 locations across three states - Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales.

Last year we helped 6446 people find a job.

• You can engage with employers and community organisations to create meaningful and tailored employment opportunities.
• You can talk with young people and mentor them to build their confidence, resilience and networking skills to help them find meaningful employment.
• You can grow our business locally by increasing the participants placed in sustained employment outcomes.
• You can deliver training to groups, communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and you have excellent computer skills.
• You have an impeccable reputation for honesty, trustworthiness and integrity.
