Cultural Perspectives are seeking an experienced and dynamic Advertising Production Coordinator to join our team within the advertising and creative services, with a specific focus on engaging multicultural communities.

As the Advertising Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing production processes and ensuring the successful execution of advertising and creative projects targeting diverse audiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and external suppliers, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while respecting and reflecting the nuances of different cultures.

Opportunity

The Advertising Production Coordinator will report to the Account Director and work on several concurrent communications, public relations, and engagement projects. The Advertising Production Coordinator position entails.

  • Lead projects from start to finish with exceptional project management skills.
  • Create compelling and creative project briefing material by working closely with clients and other team members.
  • Build strong relationships by managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create captivating and meaningful content for the community.

Responsibilities

The Advertising Production Coordinator's core responsibilities can be split into five distinct groups, each being a key component in a project’s life cycle.

Project Planning and Management - Collaborate with creative and account management teams to understand project objectives, requirements and timelines. Contribute to internal marketing and promotional activities.

Supplier and Resource Management - Identify and select appropriate external suppliers and production partners, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships while considering their expertise in engaging multicultural communities. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required materials, assets, and services.

Quality Assurance and Compliance - Conduct regular reviews and quality checks throughout production. Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards, including copyright, intellectual property, and regulatory guidelines.

Budgeting and Cost Control - Work to project budgets, closely monitoring expenses and adjusting as needed.

Communication and Collaboration - Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential risks.

  • 3+ years proven production experience within the advertising and creative services industry.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and budget management skills.

Desirables:

  • Being from a culturally and linguistically diverse background or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools for production management.
  • Experience in cross-cultural communication and working with non-English texts and fonts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., advertising, marketing, communications, or production management)
