WHERE ARE WE?

Our team works remotely (with the option of utilising shared office spaces, where possible). The location for the role has been listed as Sydney but this role can be based anywhere in Australia. Our team are currently based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Hobart.

Culture is Life is seeking a candidate with experience in Measurement and Evaluation to join a creative, determined and focused team who back our mob to catalyse and mobilise positive change. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of measurement and evaluation processes for all Culture is Life's program and project activities.

The role will involve the development of partnerships with organisations, researchers and communities to influence and shape settings that support cultural outcomes and impact wellbeing. The generation and use of evidence and insights will inform strategy development and secure future funding opportunities.

Young people are at the core of what we do and the successful applicant for this position will possess experience working with young people and in particular, working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • High-level of experience working with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and communities
  • Experience in the development and implementation of measurement and evaluation processes within a health, social and emotional wellbeing, mental health or social research setting.

CORE OBJECTIVES

  • Establish ongoing monitoring of organisational progress against Strategic Plan and Theory of Change
  • Lead technical development of measurement and evaluation plans for all projects
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to carry out rigorous partnership reviews
  • Collaborate with staff to oversee timely and accurate reporting and measurement of partnerships
  • Lead relationships with any external providers of evaluation projects, providing feedback and oversight of evaluation outputs
  • Manage reporting schedule for all active major donors, grants and agreements
  • Produce reports and analysis to inform organisational strategy (such as to the Board)
  • Disseminate information – in partnership with Brand Manager – for external audience and stakeholders' benefit
  • Ensure all activities remain on time and within budget
  • Implement organisational data collection processes and manage our organisational database, HubSpot
  • Fulfil other duties and practices as required.

  • Culture is Life is a registered charity and this position carries some Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) exemptions which can increase your take-home pay
