CSSANZ (Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand) is a member based not-for-profit Surgical Society. We seek an Administrative Assistant for the secretariat office to support the Society’s activities including our post-fellowship training program, our research foundation, and for other membership and advocacy activities.

You will support the Executive Administrators with the day-to-day work of the Society such as maintaining spreadsheets, updating the website, co-ordinating material for newsletters, management of surveys and other general office tasks.

Applicants must have:

• Previous office administration experience.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work within a small team environment and liaise with people on all levels.
• A professional telephone manner.
• Strong computer literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Desirable:

• Experience with a CRM database or in a membership-based organisation.
• Experience working with Boards and/or NFP sector.

You are mature, capable and thorough in your approach, and take pride in delivering quality work. This role will require initiative and diligence to ensure deadlines are met. Your excellent grammar skills and professional communication style will be paramount to your success.
