Crossway Group is seeking to employ a Partnerships & Development Manager to provide innovative and energetic leadership in the partnerships, fundraising and strategic development space for the Crossway, and in particular Crossway LifeCare.

Crossway LifeCare is a well-established NFP community service organisation at Crossway Baptist Church’s original Burwood East campus in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. With approximately 35 staff and a strong base of nearly 120 volunteers, our range of four integrated services provide wrap-around support: Counselling, Family Violence Programs, COACH Mentoring and Community Connections.

Crossway LifeCare's vision is to see people in tough places flourish. As a local community services organisation centred on Christian foundations, we are motivated to support the health and wellbeing of poor and vulnerable people in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced fundraising manager to develop and execute Crossway's fundraising strategy, as well as cultivating strategic partnerships, managing our donor base, implementing fundraising initiatives, and supporting communications for LifeCare. This role will include occasional Crossway Baptist Church and COACH Network projects.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Managing donor and funding partner relationships to build sustainable fundraising income and achieving strategic objectives
• Development of LifeCare’s fundraising strategy, aligned to vision, budget targets & return on investment
• Co-ordination of major appeals in conjunction with Crossway cross-stream team members
• Managing bequests and stewarding major donors
• Working with Crossway’s Communications Team and CEO to build Crossway LifeCare’s profile
• Develop clear regular reporting processes

Qualifications, Skills and Experience needed:

• Preferred experience in NFP setting, but not essential
• Proven track record in fundraising and partnership related fields
• Experience in using social media, email marketing and other digital marketing channels to increase engagement and fundraising revenue
• Demonstrated project management experience, with proven ability to plan, develop, schedule, deliver and monitor projects within required time frame
• Ability to build effective and ongoing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
