Camp Quality delivers services and programs free of charge for kids (0-15) and their families at every stage of the cancer experience.

We start meetings with something called Fun Therapy. Fun Therapy creates laughter and positive emotions. It doesn't have to take long or be overly complicated; it could be anything from a quick quiz to a game of heads and tails. Occasionally, we schedule in Fun Therapy Activities to bond us as a team, while at other times we may break out into a spontaneous fun activity.  

About the Role

The National Product Manager - Services and Programs is part of the Services and Programs team and you will be working to ensure Camp Quality's services and programs offerings are consistent, high quality, safe and responsive to the needs and expectations of customer (families) and stakeholders.

  • Work in an established team offering a supportive and collaborative approach
  • Lead and drive innovation of new products within the existing services and programs business aimed at delivering business growth, increased retention, and meeting stakeholder expectations
  • Support the Head of Recreation Programs in managing Camp Quality recreation programs nationally
  • Develop and manage the national Gift In Kind (GIK) procurement initiative - sourcing service opportunities that meet the needs of Camp Quality families
  • Utilise your project management skills to implement key strategic initiatives within the Camp Quality organisational strategy.

Experience and Knowledge

  • At least five years' relevant management / leadership experience within the NFP sector or product manager experience
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in relationship building with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven abilities in managing data and evaluation programs against program outcomes
  • Proven track record in developing programs and services that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders

Qualifications and Training (preferRed)

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in project management / recreation / outdoor programs and / education / or children's services

Other requirements for this role:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use initiative and be proactive
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational/project management skills, and sound attention to detail
  • Some out of hours work will be required for events or recreation programs
