We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and champion the execution of our HR Strategic Plan. In this crucial role, you'll partner directly with the Chief Operations Officer, driving key strategic HR projects and overseeing all HR operations to cultivate a vibrant and thriving workplace.

Your Opportunity: Lead and Drive Change

As HR Manager you will you'll be a key leader, driving both strategic HR initiatives and overseeing day-to-day HR operations with a hands-on approach You will be instrumental in aligning HR practices and processes with our organisational objectives and the HR Strategic Plan. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a positive and engaging work environment, strengthening employee engagement and retention, and ensuring unwavering compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy & Projects: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisation objectives. Including, HR policies & contracts. Lead and implement HR projects.
  • Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment and talent acquisition cycle.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee queries and concerns. Lead engagement initiatives and conflict resolution.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process. Provide guidance to managers on goal setting and career development.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training needs. Organise programs and workshops. Monitor training effectiveness.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs. Conduct salary benchmarking. Administer benefits programs, ensuring market competitive and compliance.
  • Compliance: Ensure legal compliance with relevant legislation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Oversee workplace health and safety policies. Promote employee wellbeing through wellness programs and initiatives.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies
  • Possess strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and employee relations
  • Have experience with Employment Hero (desired)
  • Hold a bachelors’ degree in human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Competitive Compensation: Salary ranges from $119,000-$131,000 plus 12% superannuation with up to $15,900 as salary sacrifice
