We are looking for a highly competent individual who would enjoy being part of a vibrant Art Direction team. Your work will support the mission of Compassion by delivering high quality digital designs and development of our social, website and email campaigns.

You will be responsible for designing and developing digital platforms that align with research insights about our audience, are part of integrated seasonal brand campaigns, strategically committed to driving brand awareness, grow our supporter base and reach our strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with the Art Direction and UX Digital & Campaigns Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Wireframing, creating designs and developing campaigns on our website and other digital platforms
  • EDM (Email) design and development
  • Translating campaign art direction across digital platforms
  • Maintaining Compassion Australia’s brand standards, digital style guide and assets to ensure brand consistency
  • and integrity
  • Plan and implement changes, updates and/or enhancements to Compassion Australia websites by liaising with internal stakeholders, making changes as required
  • Establish and implement monitoring and evaluation processes to facilitate ongoing review of website

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Web development skills (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, ReactJS, however VueJS experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working with source code management tools such as Git
  • Web design experience, combined with competency in design and UI/UX tools; such as Figma, Sketch, inVision, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Responsive design, SEO and Google Analytics exposure
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills in content creation for digital platforms
  • Capable of working within Adobe CC Libraries to remain consistent brand standards
  • The ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with effective time management skills
  • Proficiency in E-commerce web design; payment gateways, Integrating CMS program and data feeds into website
