The Kalumburu Men’s Program Coordinators primary role is to facilitate and coordinate service delivery and undertake early intervention mental health services with local men. The focus of this program is to reduce family and domestic violence in the community through education, workshops, activities and counselling with the men of the community. This will be a twelve month program and this role will facilitate the development of the service framework, applied case management model and data collection and evaluation to measure the impact this approach has on the community.
This role is a new initiative in Kalumburu and as such will require a Male Coordinator who has experience working with Indigenous men either in Remote communities or in a social welfare setting, Justice or mental health.
Accommodation will be provided and access to a vehicle whilst in Community. Remote leave will be available in addition to Holiday leave and relocation costs will be covered.
