The Equity Project is a first-of-its-kind social movement that aims to tackle poverty and disadvantage in WA through advocating for systemic change. By engaging with a range of stakeholders (community, business, not-for-profit etc.) we can inform, unite, and mobilise efforts that seek and advocate for solutions to key social issues.
The Equity Project is a collaboration of not-for-profit organisations with Communicare providing the auspice arrangement for affiliated roles.
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will work closely with the Equity Project Lead, to deliver marketing and communication services across the social movement that is The Equity Project.
In this role you will develop and execute communication and marketing strategies that engage our target audiences (community, business, not-for-profit, youth etc.) and grow, sustain, and unite our membership and supporter base. The role will be critical in ensuring The Equity Project becomes a recognised brand that helps to meet our vision and purpose.
This role will be located in Cannington on a fixed term part-time basis working 38 hours a fortnight.
This is your chance to join an organisation with an exceptional team culture, driven by a commitment to diversity, respect and fairness.
Since opening our doors in 1977, our passion for delivering high quality, people-focused support services has continued to flourish. In May 2020, we became the new custodian of White Ribbon Australia, establishing a national footprint for the organisation.
We remain committed to growing a workforce that celebrates diversity and seeks to inspire and empower the people we serve. While we’ve changed a lot over the past 45 years, our values – Hope, Opportunity, Perseverance and Equality – remain at the very heart of everything we do.
