Common Grace is a movement of individuals, churches and communities pursuing Jesus and justice together for the flourishing of all people and all creation. We are animated by a vision of the good that God intends for Australia and we are committed to pursuing love, beauty and grace to help this be realised today.
Common Grace is operated by a small team located all around Australia and is led by the perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Christian leaders.
Common Grace seeks to inspire followers of Jesus to be equipped and mobilised to take meaningful and collective actions for justice to bring about change in Australia. Together we are raising a gracious public voice on issues we believe will move Australia to become more welcoming, safe, generous, and gracious.
Common Grace is a place of warm welcome, with a committed and passionate team working collaboratively together to lead thousands of people to be inspired, equipped and mobilised to take action for justice in their everyday lives. It is a place where your unique skills and experiences are a gift to the organisation.
At the heart of the Common Grace team is a deep commitment to the vision and mission of Common Grace and a care for each other. We value relationships, work-life balance, celebrating each other’s strengths, and compassion towards ourselves and each other. While there’s always lots to get done, the team takes regular moments to care for one another, pray, connect and encourage each other.
Common Grace believes that its employees can be productive no matter where they work, and embraces the benefits of a team that all work remotely.
As a Christian not-for-profit organisation, Common Grace is a place where you can have a job with deep purpose. Your personal faith in Jesus, and heart for justice is encouraged and put into action.
For any further information about the role or recruitment process please contact the team at [email protected] using the subject line: Finance and Administration Officer enquiry via EthicalJobs.
We seek to be a gracious and diverse workplace, in which people of different backgrounds, genders and ages work together. We are committed to equal opportunity and the creation of an inclusive workplace. Common Grace’s recruitment and selection procedures and checks reflect our commitment to the well-being and protection of children.
At the centre of what justice means in an Australian context is truth-telling about our history and we therefore strongly encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply.
People with lived experience in one or more of Common Grace’s four key justice areas are also strongly encouraged to apply.
