This expanded Head of Girls role is 0.8-1.0FTE (negotiable) and is focused on increasing and supporting the participation of females at CBA. The role is responsible for initiatives that support gender equity including in direct program and competition delivery as well as improving our systems and processes to ensure CBA is a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for girls and women. The role will be responsible for all managing, including planning, delivering and evaluating, a range of programs, competitions and initiatives that support female participation at CBA.
The role reports directly to the General Manager of CBA and is required to work closely with key CBA staff including the Director of Coaching and the Basketball Development Manager, and CBA volunteers including coaches, team managers and committee members.
CBA operates out of Collingwood College and the newly established, state of the art Bundha Sports Complex in North Fitzroy. We are an inner-city club with a diverse and vibrant community with excellent facilities to grow our membership. CBA is currently undertaking a range of initiative to strengthen our association and support our members to achieve their basketball aspirations whilst providing inclusive programs that support our community to play basketball at all levels. Under new management, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team of passionate staff.
