About the role

cohealth is seeking a motivated and passionate Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting community-based position that encompasses all aspects of Podiatric treatment and care. This includes assessment, diagnosis and treatment of clients with a broad range of foot and lower limb related disorders. The Podiatrist will have the knowledge and ability to treat foot- related conditions resulting from diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, musculoskeletal presentations and other high risk foot complications.

Your duties include:

• Provide high quality Podiatry services to clients and groups of clients in accordance with agreed targets
• Provide a high quality and flexible Podiatry services to clients from marginalised backgrounds
• Provide a welcoming environment where the consumers are able to inquire and learn about a range of health-related matters and engage in self-management
• Participate in multidisciplinary coordinated care activities to meet the needs of the target group

Our ideal candidate:

• Tertiary qualification in Podiatry
• Proof of qualification to be sighted
• Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• At least two years' experience as a Podiatrist

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working with Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses). Additionally, some roles will also require current AHPRA registration and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B]. This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders for COVID-19 and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
