Are you a dynamic individual with relevant experience in family support, youth work or child protection? If you are keen to learn and grow, we have an excellent development opportunity for you! We have multiple positions available.
In this varied role, you will provide a flexible outreach parenting support service to families with young children. You will visit the homes of our clients and assist with parenting, family health and wellbeing and sleep and settling. The support provided will be short term intervention. You will also facilitate parents’ groups at local community centres and provide support over the phone or email.
We have multiple positions available, either full time or part time, with flexibility on days and hours worked. Standard workdays are Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. The role is based at the Galkangu Offices, Lyttleton Terrace Bendigo, with travel in the greater Bendigo region, using a City provided vehicle.
You will have a commitment and enthusiasm to providing child focused, family centred care in the community setting with experience in group facilitation and program delivery. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a customer service focus, enjoy working in a team environment, but also be able to work autonomously.
If you hold tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Mental Health or Child Youth and Family Services and have a current drivers licence we welcome your application.
A satisfactory police records check, Working with Children Check (employee) and drivers’ licence is required for this position.
