Support Worker - Camden Park

Community Living Project Inc.

Enjoy music, gardening, Home and Away?

I am a woman in my 60’s living in Camden Park. I live in my own home; I love music, gardening, getting out and about in my community, watching Home and Away and enjoying the company of my friends.

I am looking for a reliable, flexible, and genuine person to join my support team.

I am fiercely independent and at the centre of all my life decisions. I rely on paid workers to assist me with my daily living needs including personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, meal preparation and connecting to my community.

The role includes 16-20 hours per fortnight and would suit a local person who might be looking for a flexible role to assist someone in their community. I keep to a regular schedule of support with 2 hour shifts across the day: morning, lunch, late afternoon and 1 hour each evening. It’s also important for my team to have some availability and flexibility to cover for each other when workers are sick or away or my needs change.

If we share similar interests and you have skills and values you believe will be an asset to the role, I am very keen to hear from you. Prior experience in disability services is not essential; ongoing training and direction will be provided.
