Community Living Project Inc.
  • Full Time
  • Leadership opportunity
  • Competitive salary package
  • Innovative family-led community organisation

The Board of Directors of Community Living Project (CLP) is seeking expressions of interest from adaptive, values-driven leaders who are strategically minded and outcomes-driven to build on the current success of CLP, taking it to the next level.

About Community Living Project

Since 1984, the Community Living Project has worked in close partnership with families to build opportunities for a good life for their family member who is living with a disability. Community Living Project focuses on building inclusion. To us, this means that everyone matters and all people are welcomed, included and contributing to community life (see our website).

CLP works alongside vulnerable people to discover their strengths, unleash their capacity, as well as assist and encourage people to achieve their goals in a collaborative and flexible way. We work with one person at a time to craft individualised support in a way that ensures each person (and their family) has as much control as possible over all aspects of their life. We believe all people should have the opportunity to pursue a unique lifestyle that is personally meaningful, relevant and typically intertwined in their community.

CLP has long term, solid partnerships with like-minded organisations across Australia with a shared goal to strengthen values-based leadership.

The organisation is registered under the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC).

About the role

The current Executive Officer of Community Living Project is retiring from the role after being with the organisation for 13 years. We seek a values-driven, visionary and innovative leader, who can build on the strong progress made by the organisation to date, as well as inspire and assist the team to deliver on strategies that will continue to achieve our vision and build sustainable growth.

This is a full-time role, working flexibly from home and at the CLP Office at Christies Beach. The role offers a competitive salary package that will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
