As a Researcher at the Climate Council you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia's best researchers, communicators and policy thinkers on climate science and solutions.
As a Researcher you will be a core member of the Solutions Team, undertaking research and policy analysis for high impact publications, while supporting the Climate Council’s broader climate communication, campaigns and advocacy work.
This is a permanent full time role. Full time workload is 38 hours a week, with the ability to work outside of normal business hours as required on occasion. We are open to flexible work options, let us know how you like to work.
This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra.
Climate Council is Australia’s own independent, evidence-based organisation on climate science, impacts and solutions. Powered by our incredible community, we advocate for solutions that rapidly drive down climate pollution, and shape the national conversation about the consequences of inaction.
Our vision is that by 2025 Australia’s emissions are on a steep downward trajectory with projects and policies in place to see us cut climate pollution by 75% by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2035.
Our mission is to be a courageous catalyst propelling Australia towards bold, effective action to have climate pollution plummet during the 2020s and hit net zero by 2035.
