We are looking for an operations superstar to join our Melbourne office on a part time fixed term basis.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping the Climate Council Melbourne office running smoothly. As the first point of contact for all operational and administrative queries in the office, you’ll support teams across the organisation to deliver impactful work.

You’ll coordinate key projects, assist with internal processes, and help deliver organisational and team events. From managing travel and office logistics to supporting events and ensuring smooth daily operations, this is a hands-on role at the heart of a busy, purpose-driven organisation.

We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, proactive, personable and who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across teams.

This role is a fixed term, part time role working 30.4 hours per week.

As an Operations Coordinator at the Climate Council you will:

  • Be adaptable to the needs of the organisation and provide support across the teams as needed.
  • Be an excellent communicator, both in written and verbal communication.
  • Have experience working in a fast paced office administration, project administration events role or equivalent where you are able to multitask effectively to support the needs of the organisation.
  • Be IT savvy, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Be able to multitask effectively to support in all administrative aspects of the organisation as required by the Operations Director.
