  • Band 5 - $74,154.64 - $85,985.72 pro rata + Super + RDO

Based at the Richmond Youth Hub, the Youth and Middle Years team is seeking a passionate staff member, with skills and experience in leading the delivery of programs, activities and events at the Richmond Youth Hub for young people aged 8 – 25.  

The key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the Richmond Youth Hub offers a safe, accessible and engaging space for young people in the North Richmond community;
  • Plan and deliver responsive and evidence-based programs, activities and events for middle years’ children and young people at the Richmond Youth Hub, including after-school and school holiday programs;
  • Support young people to have ownership of the Richmond Youth Hub, through regular opportunities to build their own leadership and advocacy skills, and co-design programs, services and other elements of the site;
  • Establish positive links and working relationships with local community agencies, schools and organisations in the planning and delivery of youth engagement programs at the Richmond Youth Hub; and
  • Provide young people accessing the Richmond Youth Hub and their families with accessible, up-to-date information and referrals to other local internal and/or external youth services as required.
