Richmond Kindergarten is a purpose-built, two room sessional kindergarten situated in the leafy suburban streets of Richmond. It forms part of our Richmond Early Learning Precinct and works in partnership with Yarraberg Children's Centre. Richmond Kindergarten is rated Exceeding the Quality Standards in 6 areas of the 7 National Quality Standards. Our program has strong themes of inclusion, respect for First Nations peoples, sustainability and connection to land. This is demonstrated through the day-to-day pedagogy and Bush Kinder program.
Richmond Kindergarten provides Free Kinder to children living in and around the municipality. The cohort is diverse, and this role will best suit an experienced teacher who has the demonstrated skills and ability to manage the unique and emerging needs of each child within the group using responsive practice and a trauma informed framework.
